Unfortunately the EK is a fake in my opinion. The frame looks like the love child of Souval and Deschler. It succeeds in being neither and bears no resemblance to any known and accepted wartime frame.

something about the EK that I like actually, just a gut feeling. Can we please see a reverse photo of the bar?

Its the 'Stuttgart fake' imo.

Looks like a Souval with a raised suspension ring lug.

thank you for your help with this one and showing another like it. I now agree, a reproduction. Reminds me vaguely of a 'rounder' Knights Cross fake.
