Gold SA Sportsabzeichen.

Article about: Here I have a second pattern bronze SA sports badge and a third pattern gold SA sports badge. I'm fairly confident the Bronze is a genuine piece but im skeptical of the detail on the reverse

    Here I have a second pattern bronze SA sports badge and a third pattern gold SA sports badge. I'm fairly confident the Bronze is a genuine piece but im skeptical of the detail on the reverse of the gold. Opinions?

    Bronze looks fine. So does the gold, but I'm not sure on the gold unfortunately

    I also am not a fan of the gold one. Makers mark and poor detail is enough for me to leave be.

    Maker is wrong for the gold. I believe Ludwig Christian Lauer are the only makers of the Gold Grade SA. (Which incidentally is how I know that at least 2 of the 3 Gold SAs on the Winkler site are fake)

    This list is I think from Tino (GraveDigga) who IMO is the 'go-to' guy as regards SA awards. I cannot comment on the accuracy of the list you provide other than to say I would certainly take it as the most most accurate reference we have at the moment.

    I also can't comment on 'the who made what' question other than that I know Tino told me personally that any Gold grade other than a L.C. Lauer is a fake, hence my comments above.
