    Default Heeres-Flakabzeichen: Authentic Piece?

Hi, all. I was just hoping someone could give me a quick thumbs up or down on this one. It is selling very cheaply which makes me suspicious but from a seller who seems to have many good, authentic pieces. I really know nothing about these badges yet and haven't looked at too many examples, but I was thinking the pin/assembly looked a bit odd/out of place.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Best,
    Adam

From the front it looks visually acceptable. However when you look at the back, the reverse hardware is just not what you find on these badges.
I would like to see better photos before writing it off completely based on the above images. At best it might be original with replaced hardware but if you only have these photos to work with I would pass on it.

Hey, Adrian and thanks for the reply. Yes, unfortunately these are the only photos I have for right now. It's selling for $50 which has me quite skeptical, but you never know...perhaps original with replaced hardware as you say. Maybe others will chime in on this one.

    Thanks again,
    Adam

For $50 I would guess the seller knows it's a fake badge. If it was original it would still sell for much more even with replaced or missing hardware.

Apologies, but I thought I had mentioned before... it's actually selling in an auction format starting at $50 and no one has bid (suspect?) and time's almost up on the auction so there is a good chance of getting it at that or very low. Anyways, so perhaps it's not easily dismissed by that logic.

Thanks for the help...we shall see
