Anyone care to venture an opinion on these two?

I'll have a go. First the Blue division medal, I don't like it, originals I've seen have all been a fairly polished type of silver finish, not dark as shown and the details appear less harsh than the one here.

The long service firemans service medal 2nd class has, as already said, the wrong type of ribbon. I'm not keen on the bare metal finish again (maybe the pic setting is causing this to be dark/oxidised look on both?) but the wear/chipping on the enamel is fairly typical, so perhaps it stands a chance, but to be honest I'm winging it a bit here!

    Regards, Ned.

Here is a genuine Firemans cross, see if you can check the detail and the quality of the emamel

Agreed Nick, the detail is superior and the swaz is noticably finer.

Look carefully at the rear of the other medal, it is etched ''Rusia 1941'', I've never seen anything like it and the ribbon is totally alien to me also. The Firemans cross lacks detail and the ball at the jump ring look odd. I'd pass on both.

Fireman's cross is a fake IMO. Stewy

I have found that the above blue div. medal is a post war official copy sanctioned by the Franco govt. which never outlawed the nazi swastika post ww2. The design is markedly different in finish to the original wartime award in it's poorer finish as I pointed out earlier in this thread.

As far as R M Miltaria's concerns go, both the ribbon( representing Spain and the 3rd Reich) and the 'Rusia 1941'(note only one 'S') are absolutely correct for this award.
