    I finally have my favourite of TR items, a beautiful Zimmermann DKiG weighing at 45,59gr.

    Lovely condition! I cant keep my eyes of her!

    Thats me just about spent for 2011 !

    Nick, what a beauty! It's a very fine addition to any collection but congratulations on adding it to yours.

    You will be in soooooo much trouble if Mrs Nick finds out! Have you moved out already in anticipation of her wrath?

    such nice crosses, stupid question but is there real gold in the cross?

    No real gold in these alas. The makers used cupal (an alloy of aluminum and copper), tombak, and nickel silver (Neusilber) mostly. Would have driven the price way up though

    Apart from a CF Zimmermann EK1 on the way my collecting of EKs is about done. (unless a marked 60 EK2 jumps up!...oh and perhaps a nice minty EK1 K&Q...oh....and...and..!!!!)

    I am just going to try and concentrate on buying lower end Hitler Youth stuff from now on
