Article about: Hi again all I am not used to collecting German medals and this is the only photo that the seller has given but what I want to know if it is original?

    Sad, but true. They are, indeed, also being faked. Heck, they even fake Mother's Crosses now....go figure. Can't really give you much of an opinion on the one posted, though, as the photo doesn't tell all that much. I don't particularly like the color of the metal, but that doesn't mean all that much, of course. The same goes for the ribbon-it looks kind of shiny for being almost a century old, but who knows.

    It's not like they are expensive or hard to find. Personally, I think I'd wait and pick up a different specimen...
