Default Hindenburg cross, post war or fake ?

Gentlemen, bought this Hindenburg cross from a dealer in Germany, who had it advertised as a 1957 version, yes I know it is not, as has no forbidden symbols on it originally......but as it is known St u L in particular, made a range of Imperial awards post war for the veterans market, is this such an example ? or a down right fake !
One piece die stamped, non magnetic with crisp detail and nice overall finish and patina, does this stand a chance.......I have only seen originals, even attached to post war veterans bars............these medals are so cheap and plentiful why bother making either a replacement or fake ! but they do make repros....in China, I attach an image of one for comparison.......there is no mm on mine, but the Chinese fake does have them.......mine has a weird, almost unique jump ring, or lack of one, see close up images, anyone seen such a method for attaching a ribbon suspension ring ?
Could it be another maker, Assmann or Deschler ? I doubt Deumer, as they I am sure would attach a quality jump ring....thoughts, good or bad welcomed....The last two images show the Chinese fake.
    Prost ! Steve.

Probably post war as I don't see that hook on the version my brother owns.
Possibility of being fake I would say is 50% and possibility of being ww2 10% post war around 40% I would say.
    Best Regards Matt

On the look out for original ww2 M26 Adrian helmet liner.
