Looks ok to me. Nice to see the correct original ribbon with it.

It indeed is very fine and very similar in character to my example:

These kind of examples in such nicely used condition beats a mint untouched example every time IMO - not sure the "mint-junkies" around will approve of that, you know the kind of collectors that need their awards to be able to double as a mirror should it be needed at one time

And you sure have a lot of good looking bling too, Nick It just shows how differently collectors relate to their items - I have always been drawn more towards the history behind an artifact (manifested through wear and patina) rather than the material aspect of the object itself. I don't display any of my items either, as it wouldn't feel right for me to do so - I sometimes take some nice photos of my items to share and to use for my personal archive, but that's all. I personally collect in order to achieve a physical link to the past I love to study, and not in order to have shiny things in glass cases.

I like very much to see the nice mounted displays on the forum that people have assembled, but paradoxically I could never do it myself. I am very strange and eccentric, I know There is no right, no wrong here, just different tastes and different prejudices for each and every person.
