    Hello Stefan,
I do not have a good feeling about the badge. It may be just a gut instinct
It is supposed to be a (J2 classification) a later produced buntmetal badge but the details look just a little too soft compared to the other die stamped Juncker badges I have seen.
I know there are a lot of variations on original badges due to the hand finishing that the Juncker craftsmen carried out but the quality does not seem to be there.
I just feel a little uncomfortable saying it is a good badge
    All the best

I believe this is an original badge. I can't see much wrong with it. Here's mine to compare to although this one has had a pin and catch replacement.

The general concensus is that this badge is a good one, never mind the fakes, they are not being discussed here. Has the asking price put you off, as I find your decision a little odd after you solicited for opinions on it's originality?

Feel free to p.m. me the guy's E-mail address if your'e not interested and don't have a problem with that, as I may make him an offer.

    Regards, Ned.

Thanks Joachim, the recipients name has been scratched faintly on the back of the eagle. It's hard to see in the photo but it reads something like 'Zimmerdahl'.
