I'm not sure but I remember something about Orth Hilfskreuzer Abzeichen always having a silver coloured ship? Does this look like it has been repainted?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Yes same badge I bought from Gaz this week
The ships are not silver in my reference books, so I am not sure about that Adrian. I have just looked through a glass and it doesnt look painted
