A good zinc badge from Schwerin. It looks absolutely fine Chuck and if the price is good I see no reason not to purchase.

100% original indeed, only question is that how much gold finish left on the wreath, I think the pictures were made with flash so it can be a bit illusory.

Hi Guys,

I agree, a nice zinc Schwerin Type 1.1.7. Like János says, the photo lighting can make it hard to judge, but it looks like it has most of its gilding intact which has faded in the manner typical of the zinc Schwerins.

il need to ask for a few picture with no flash. i need to get this right.
it just hit me and a flash i guess can hide something ....

I agree with Norm. It looks like there is maybe 10% of the gilding left but there is enough colour difference to show the rest of the gold colour has faded to pale silvery grey.
