It's referred to as the 'Schickle Design' as the badge has a flaw in the lower arm of the swastika that can be seen in pictures of the early catalogues of the firm Otto Schickle. B.H. Meyer bought the O.S. stock when they closed, and started marking the badges up with their LDO number (L/18), so for a long time they were considered to be by BHM until further research indicated otherwise, hence the re classification to 'Schickle Design'.
