One more thing forgoten to ask: It looks like a brass badge without any colors left on it , Does it mean that it's early war or mid war?
Thanks.
It looks good but it would help to see a straight on shot of the back. The base metal should be tombac which would mean it is an earlier badge.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Done
I also wouldn't call this badge 'early' by any means. It was introduced mid way through 1941...they switched over to zinc manufacturing in 1942. Finding a CAB in tomback is more difficult than zinc (months of production compared to years)...you can find zinc ones all day long.
Looks good
Hello,
Could anyone tell me the prize this badge could make if sold or bought?
Thanks
In this shape I would say somewhere between 200-300 Euro is fair...but this is just my opinion. The condition is not all that great...but a tomback CAB is not the easiest thing to find in the first place.
Let's see what others have to say.

Hi winterhilfswerk,
What do you mean with the condition is not so great? For me the detailing and condition is good (compaired to sinc ones). Only on the back a small chip.
Thanks.
