i know i have come across cheap ones that are genuine but only because the person was ignorant of militaria i once bought a luftwaffe schiffen off a old german lady who only sold pottery the cap was her fathers got it for 20 pound but things like that are rare eh.

The S-boot badge and SS medal are both fake items. The price is a giveaway as is the quality and reverse hardware.

your right Adrian but like i said earlier occasionally you do come across a good one reasonably priced the one i posted earlier today the tombak infantry assault badge is good and was from a seller who just sells mostly antiques but he was selling a few bits belonging to his late father. there are a lot of unscrupulous sharks out there i've found.

Have a search on the forum, I started a thread a while ago on these badges and I'm sure an AS badge was posted, compare it to the example you posted at the start of the thread and see the differences.

top class thanks for the link Adrian and the one i posted the biggest thing that i noticed was shitty detail, no gaps between the swaztika arms ship windows and oak leaves blurred out the things about German awards is quality, detail and craftsmanship
