Hi there,
Was wandering if the Krim Shield below is a original one.
Here you can see some other details of the shield.

Thanks,
I think yours is a bad one guevara. A town is missing on the Kirm pinusula, there is 5. when there should be 6. Also the backing, never seen holes that huge.
I didnt spend much time looking at it, because i got work. Others hopefully will give an opinion.
P.S. next time make your own thread, just friendly suggestion. Welcome to the forum
Derrick
Thanks for your time. This one was issued for Romanians troops as part of the Nazi Army participating in Krim. These versions were mint in different places and different mint. The guides I have seen so far, are only describing the one for the Germany soldiers and little less for those for the allies. Anyway, I can;t say 100% if this is original, but what I have studied online there so many versions that to clarify which is which is little hard. Will look for other opinions too. thanks
Original shield. Is it magnetic?
The one above guevara74 have posted. Details are awful.
Yes, the shield and back plate are magnetic both. thanks
Hi Guevara and welcome to the forum.
I know very little about shields but pantherv would be the person I would ask if I got one.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Cheers Adrian....here's another couple of examples. Rare to find in Iron and even rarer in Zinc. The darker one is from my collection.
Thanks Phanterv for sharing this info. I have bought a collection of nazi stuff and this along other things seems to be what I was told. Will share the other stuff in appropriate topics. Thanks
Yes pantherV is the guru on shields, I consider him the expert on shields.
I am still learning from you pantherV
