    Hello,
    Colour of this medal just doesn't look right to me.
    Also I think the n in division looks incorrect.
    IMO it's a spanish made reproduction from the 1980 or so.
    I would wait for a second opinion however.

    I would pass. Mine is also a zinc based medal with most of the gilt written off. I do not like the look of this compared to mine, and the other two zinc based medals in this thread.

    Two variations are German and Spanish.
    German versions are war time examples that should be marked 1 on the ring.
    Spanish variations are mostly post war given to veterans.
    The second one you posted looks like a good war time example IMO

    Good shout wagriff!!' Fake it is so . This I read about some Russian fake with this issue ! Ill stuck with the one I've got already so.
