Lot 5: Are these Medals Real or Fake???

Hi all!

I need expert opinions on a bunch of German medals I purchased in an enormous lot. The lot includes mostly American medals, ribbons and bars, but the German medals included in the lot have me curious.

I will be posting several detailed photos of the German medals, across several posts for house keeping sake, in hopes of getting feedback from the experts here on what they are, and whether or not they're authentic. I'm anxious to see which ones I think are real match up with everyone else's opinion.

All the "white metal" badges have the same hue to them .... no patina ....

Not a good sign !

Stewy, are the pics not large enough when you click on them? I know on my end when I click on the photo I'm also given a magnifying glass in my browser to enlarge the photos even further.

I did a little research on the U-boat badge and agree it's a fake...and a bad one at that

Unsure of the EK1, but the other two are bad.

Verify if the EKI has a 3 pieces construction, like this one, and if it's core is magnetic. This core without rust seems strange to me.

Hinge & aging look wrong on the EK1,but Imperial stuff's not my thing,sorry. Stewy S

Ricardo, EKI is indeed three pieces. Took a bit of looking but can definitely see the seam between the two cores, and the other seam between the core and the bead border. As for magnetic, not sure since I can't seem to locate a magnet
