Those do not look like Assman rivets to me.

Here's a known fake based on a 3rd pattern Assmann Observer badge. Notice the set up and rivets appear to be the same.

Not all sites like this get it right. You will find many reference sites with fakes purported to be original just are you will find many dealers selling fakes which they claim to be original.

can any one post a real assman observers badge as referance to what you are all are talking about ?
Have a look here to see one. The site is worth book marking too as there are many images of many badges which are all original. A very good reference.
This badge is made of tombak, not zinc. Note the makers mark is stamped into the badge, not raised above the surface.
