This has been offered to me by a dealer and I wanted a second opinion on it. He says that he has zero reproduction items in his collection. The front of the badge seems honest. What do you think?

I'm not a expert, there is some great guys in here, that can tell you the right, but I woud not buy it, bad finish!

May be it isn't finished...yet...they still have to work on it...
No offence ment!
But to me it leaves the same impression.
I'am also not an expert, but they 'll be soon here.

Yeah i know what you mean I just don't like the catch on the back it seems a bit thick. I always thought that the catches were thinner and had that "waffle" look to them. I am pulling my hair out over this stuff. I have been striking out pretty bad here lately so thats why I'm worried about this.

Hi there these catches do exist. Here's mine,but your example has an odd pin & looks rather pitted. Sorry for pic quality i'll get some better ones. Stewy

Sorry this is a fake. Originals of these badges are made from zink (unlike this one) and the pin is also wrong.

I hate to hear that because I have delt with this dealer a few times and he always treated me right but I knew something was up when he just kept trying to push it off on me. He probably paid a bunch for it and was trying to make some of his money back on me. Last night he sent me a picture of this 30' building banner who knows if its real. I hate having to worry about fakes but I've been burn't already this month on that ss buckle.
