    Some very obvious design differences there, nice comparison shots! I only have one example, by Klein u. Quenzer, but these are surely very nice and affordable awards!

    Yes, the medal was awarded in 1942. Of course, it also happened that 1943 was awarded retrospectively.
    This is my current state of knowledge.
