Medal grouping with recipients photo!

Article about: Good score for a good price. Looks to be wearing a pre TR piped rock, updated with the early type flat wire eagle.

Default Medal grouping with recipients photo!

Hey guys this little lot was on ebay a couple of days ago and i knew it was going to get removed and i asked the seller what he would take for them and he said £100 inc p&p. It includes the Iron Cross (which i belive is unmarked but just double checking), 4 year WH service medal and 1 OCT 1938 with medal bar and a picture of the owner. This lot made over £80 in the first couple of hours before it was removed and i think that this little lot is a steal for £100 as i belive the EK2 is worth about £70, WH medal about £50 and the OCT medal (£35) and to top it off you have the medal bar and photo.
    Thanks, Glen.

Glenn, you got a good deal there. Definitely below market price for these items, well done.

    Nick, are you sure that's a K&Q EK2.......?

Well done Glen I had a bid on these when they were at £60, and I was going to do the exact same thing as you, but I thought he would have wanted a lot more than £100 for them, anyway my partner would have killed me I,ve already spent enough this month.
Well done nice group gone to a good home.

Well done Glen! Nice examples and at a very good price too. I'd even say that the Sudet medal would be worth a little more than the 35.00GBP you suggested. If the EKII is a K+Q, which I can see why Nick said it is (the form of the "1939" for example, plus he's probably got a few of 'em!) then you did very nicely indeed.

    Regards,

    Carl
