    Here is my first trip into Kriegsmarine badges. Opinions? I know the Gilt is gone on the wreath, there are trace amounts still left. I think the detailing is still nice. Pin is a little loose and catch is slightly bent. It is maker marked R.K.

    Yes, an original Karneth badge in zinc with typical loss of finish.

    Karneth zinc awards are renowned for absorbing their finish. But their Minesweeper badges were a wonderful design,congrats. Stewy
