My Great Aunt's Mutterkreuz in Gold - Eligibility Question

Article about: My Great Aunt gave me her Mother's Cross, but she did not have any children of her own. I understand one must have 8 or more children to receive one of these. My Uncle started off in the SS

Well, solution can be very simple - Your grandaunt just gave You a Mutterkreuz what belonged to here but was not ever awarded to her. Just like I got a EKII from a Russian veteran :-). Anyway - a very nice and I think the most underpriced III Reich award.

Thanks Adrian. Attached is the requested photo. Just curious as to what are you looking for in the empty box?
    Hi Pablo,

I was curious to see if there was a light 'shadow' in the bed of the case where the cross has lain for a long period of time. The flocking in the base seems quite discoloured.

Thanks Adrian. I also noticed no light shadow in the bed of the box. What does that suggest?
