I don't think these were silver...These were issued in various metals including Bronze, Iron, Copper, Weissmetall...I don't see any issues with it...it's a somewhat common award...
I don't like it, to me it looks like a cast fake that somebody has used a coarse file to smooth the rim!..
It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

Thanks Gunny, Anyone else thumbs down? want to get it back to seller with an explanation in a reasonably quick fashion
Thanks in Advance
I suggest you try to find other examples and research the areas pointed out by Gunny.
Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
Thanks for pushing me in the right direction. Details on the reverse *****, saw the file marks.
good news bought it as a part of a lot with various common badges
I will contact the seller
Thanks again gents
You would have thought that whoever filed it down would have buffed it smooth afterwards...I would pass on it for that reason alone...
