Looks good. Nice to see the pin is still attached to the ribbon.........
A nice example, thanks for showing...I've always liked the design of this award...
Thanks for the kind words! The medal was much bigger than I had thought it would be compared to pictures I have seen.
Very nice, I have one also with a ribbon and a mini, I believe they made two types, a heavier zinc and a lighter aluminum version.
I must get myself one of these one day!
I saw a few listed in the classifieds!
It might not be rare but you've picked a great example. As Steve says, good to see the ribbon and pin complete.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Very nice, i've got one to!...
It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.
I'm Spartacus, not really i'm Paul!...
A good Honest example indeed.
I would like to add a quick note to this thread for future reference that the heavier zinc version is the earlier type produced.
The aluminium type was produced was much lighter.
When awarded this medal it would of been in a grey case.
Here is my example of it,
Im looking for an a case to an 1936 olympics medal and a case to entry to austria medal. pm me If you have any spare.
