New luftschutz 2nd class medal

Just got this new medal yesterday! Its nothing rare, but its my first luftschutz medal.

Thanks for the kind words! The medal was much bigger than I had thought it would be compared to pictures I have seen.

Very nice, I have one also with a ribbon and a mini, I believe they made two types, a heavier zinc and a lighter aluminum version.

A good Honest example indeed.
I would like to add a quick note to this thread for future reference that the heavier zinc version is the earlier type produced.
The aluminium type was produced was much lighter.
When awarded this medal it would of been in a grey case.
Here is my example of it,
