G'day all, I've just returned from a military fair where I managed to pic up a couple of nice reference books, one in particular is very good, German Combat Badges of the Third Reich. It is 437 pages of excellent info on Heer and Kriegsmarine badges.

It's a good reference book, there are a few errors within the pages but not many. The second volume about the Luft badges I think, so keep your eyes open for it!

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Cheers boys, I paid $60 for it, I thought that was a very good price for a book like that.

    Hi Sandgroper

Good find! I bought the second volume on Luftwaffe badges and its a really well made with interesting info, lots of variants and with tons of good picts (and the expectable minor glitches IMO). There is also a volume by the same author/publisher on flight claps that I will be getting as soon as I can afford it. I was looking to get the first volume you obtained but its out of print and I couldnt even find one. The second volume cost me over $160 canadian (including shipping etc.) so you did real good on this one!

    Regards

    JC
