Thank you for posting, it looks like an excellent piece. To be absolutely sure, can you post straight on photos of the front and back in natural and even light please? It helps when trying to determine any items authenticity, especially an expensive award such as this.
The mark '19' on the ribbon ring is for the maker E. Ferd Weidmann Frankfurt/Main.

I believe this was the only maker of this award
