Offered a Krim Shield real or fake?

Hi guys,been offered this krim shield this afternoon real or fake.What is putting me off are the attaching prongs on the back,any opinions........Cheers Rob

Hi, this used to belong to me ,if i remember correctly i got it from a guy who worked for the council who was emptying an old ex vets house after he died, this was all slung on the skip but he retreived it all and kept it up until i bought it from him, heres the other stuff it came with pile of awards etc - Wehrmacht-Awards.com Militaria Forums https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/order...bay-haul-1521/ rgds Dave

the back fitting looks very off-centered, the eagles feathers arent right, the talons of the eagle are not detailed correctly, the 1941-1942 are not detailed correctly, and the detail of the Krim "land" shape is not correct either, it is lacking much detail. Just a few details I noticed right away. I am kind of new at studying badges/medals/orders and I know it helps me when I see some1 point out the flaws in a fake piece, so I thought I would give it a shot.

Hi Dave, I never recognised it as the same item not having seen a close up before. Not keen on it, sorry.
