Hi ,I think you are right ,the catch looks all wrong for a Schwerin badge to me. I am not keen on the hinge block either, it is "nice and shiny" yet the coke bottle pin is still darkened in between the blocks?? There are more informed members on these than me though so wait for confirmation. Leon.

There is a ton wrong with this badge, look at the perfect lettering (nice even straight letters is not found on originals). Wrong catch, wrong hinge, wrong pin, on the front look at the goofy eagle (large misshaped head, etc.).
