Article about: hi I just bought this today from a local pawn shop for \\$400 and I was wondering if its original? any help would be great thanks!

    It's original but looks like it's ready to fall apart at any moment!

    I'm just wondering if $400 wasn't a bit too much to pay for it in this condition............?

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    It is original. It's a type 3, as it has the C.A.Westmann/Dresden sticker on the reverse. It's not known if this company was the manufacturer or distributor of the award. The colour of the remaining backing cloth on the obverse looks grey/green to me for Heer. As said, it's a bit ropey, but hey, there's a lot worse tunic removed DK's out there than this one, it's got that 'been there' look for me and I like it.
