Original DRL badge?

This is one of the first pieces I ever had which I picked up at a Flea Market in Ketsch, Germany, back in the Stone Age. I did not know anything about Third Reich militaria and have keep this one quietly hidden away as I'm not sure of it is original. The catch on the back troubles me. Your thoughts?
