Howdy gang, I picked this Russian Front Medal (marked 55) recently & I have a question regarding it's authenticity. Earlier today I found another Russian Front Medal marked "55" but the maker's mark looks different than my medal that is marked 55. Most notably is the top of the 5's on my medal are shorter than the 5's on the other medal. Is this normal? I tried getting a photo of my medal's maker's mark to compare to the other "55" marked medal but my camera won't zoom in that well. I have attached photos of my medal as well as the makers mark on the other medal. Both my medal & the other "55" marked medals are from two separate well known reputable dealers. The first 4 photos are of my medal & the 5th is of the other medal.

I would suggest that the "other Medal" may be of later production, but would be worth seeing its overall quality. If the definition is there I would say it is ok, but others with more knowledge of this maker will be able to help.

Thank you. Hopefully someone can offer some insight on this matter. I am far from being even remotely knowledgeable in this area.

Here are photos of the other 55 marked medal:
