Ostfront medal mm 17
Hi guys,
I was just wondering.
Has any of you ever heard of a ostfront medal with mm 17 ??
I have been offered one in very good condition, but I have never encountered one. And the book I have on the subject show no evidence of such one !!

it would have actually be 16mm.
16mm is available as a miniature of the needle, or even with an eyelet and a ribbon.
This could carry to a Frakett.
The seller says, it is 17 !
It is not to see on the pic provided :-/

I would ask the seller better photos.
From the front and back detailed photos with a top view.
With these images, I personally would not buy the medal.
That is not to say that I find the things bad.
I give the pieces a chance that they are good. But to be sure, better photos are needed.
Individual pics from the seller would help no end. Stewy
Maker 17 did not produce any Ostmedaille.

Anyway, for me it still looks like a legitimate set even though the pictures are not the best. So the seller needs to look closer to the maker mark on the ring. Have you ask the seller if the package is marked with a maker name?

I have asked 2 times, and he says that, looking closely, it seems to be 17 !! And I have asked about the bag, and it has no mm :-/
In any case I would see the medal in hand before buying :-) I just thought, it could be rare or it could be wrong :-(

The only thing that is "rare" at the moment is the non maker marked bag. I cannot recall seeing such bag.
