Hello Guys ,After enjoying Steiners collection of winterschlacht medals, i thought i,d show the one i have to see if it is ok .There is no maker mark on the ring but there is a maker on the packet not sure if the medal is correct to the packet ,any info would be welcome,Paul.

Hi Paul,

I've got no problems with the medal or packet, all looks good. The medal is a zinc piece and the finish has unfortunately faded into the base metal over time but otherwise a typical piece in 'sleeper' condition.

There is no way to tell if the medal and packet belong together as there is no makers mark but you have two original pieces and that's what matters!

But the medal is not a piece of Ferdinand Wiedmann.
This manufacturer had no rays in the plumage.
