I don't like the presence of a third bump on the helmet. The background looks a little pebbled. Ate these the sellers photos because they are not straight on shot, which is helping to hide the bump I am referring to. Those are just my opinions. When it comes to sets, you have to look at each piece, medal, ribbon, envelope etc separately.

"The three bumps" on the obverse side match my examples perfectly.



I feel the medal itself is good Alex.

I wonder what the third bump is supposed to represent? A chinstrap attachment perhaps?

Maybe they didn't like evens? My guess is the chin strap theory.

I must say I've wondered that myself,but not sure.
