Ostvolk 2nd Class Bronze award
Continuing with my collection of Ostvolk orders I have had two new additions this week.
First up is the bronze one without swords.
It still has the original ribbon and pin, nicely dished back that is typical for these second type awards, some fair amount of finish left and is ring stamped for Wachtler and Lange.
I'm not brilliant with these awards but I tend to think that these awards that have a better quality plating rather than the spray lacquer finish are the early examples.
The finish deteriorating as the war went on.
