    OK if you are a semi imbecile like me, what is the difference between the wartime and post war medals?
    It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

    How long's a piece of string Gunny? Which medals? Which badges? There are so many fakes of all different standards and quality it's an impossible question to answer as there are so many..........

    If not horribly wrong, slight variations in detail and different material.

    Officially sanctioned post war medals made for veterans to wear, would follow the same criteria as war time minus the swastika. In the case of the Ostvolkmedaille, I am not sure that they would be made post war, or any different.
