Ostvolkmedaille 2er Klasse in Silber -

I have doubts about this Ostvolk Medal 2nd Class in Silver, so thought it best to ask for help.
Looks to me like a post war item??
Please give me your opinions.

Looks like zinc to me, so wartime in my book.

Just doesn't look like any zinc I've seen to date, the speckling, I mean. If I'm wrong I'll be glad as this is up for grabs for only $28!!
One of the other reasons for my doubting it.

The speckling wouldn't put me off as long as it's not pitting. Quite a few zinc awards have unusual spots, stripes, smudges etc. On their own, not a huge issue unless you find other things wrong with the piece in question.

I agree with Ade that it's original.

So I bought the medal above and he had another I was interested in. They are currently on the way, but here are the pics of the second medal I bought for the same price.
It's a Bronze with swords. Opinions most welcome, thank you.
