Cleaned up so nice, spectacular, did you use a brush and vacuum, or air, or wash it? The other pics are very nice, the model is pretty neat (blows up very nicely on my screen), wonder if it was taken on the island, or maybe a girlfriend from home?

    Hi Larboard,
I used a clean paint brush to get all the dirt of the piece. I really did not expect it to clean up so well.
The models are really nice, I think it must be a girlfriend from home.

This Badge is definetely one of my favourites. Surprised about how well preserved is your Badge, despite being stored in such a way, only quality ítems last for ever. A mint might cost around 700 Euros, depending on manufacture of course. Unless I get as lucky as you did, I will have to wait and buy one at a decent Price, but that can wait Congratulations

A mint one at a decent price will never mean as much to you as this one does. I like local finds, lucky finds.

Larboard, your 100% correct. Finding it as I did will be one of the memories of my collecting that will stay with me forever.

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
