I believe it's a type 2 badge, made between 1935 and 1939.

Thanks for the comments chaps , and many thanks Erno for letting me know it is a type 2. I really like these SA sports badges and would really like to get the silver and gold examples to go with this one aswell. But i have to hold back this week for that nice luftwaffe buckle.
