Rare Badge Needing Pin Repair - Do You Know of a Good Jeweler?

Hello All,

I have a rare badge that is missing its pin.

Does anyone out there know of a competent jeweler who can repair the pin?

Pin repairs can be delicate since you don't want the jeweler hacking-up the badge in the process. They really need to understand and know how to lightly "tack" the pin in - more for appearance than absolute functionality. Afterall, the damn thing isn't going to be worn.

Before anyone chides me about this, let me just say that it is rare enough to warrant taking a pin from a period tinnie and fixing it. IF, and when, I decide to sell it, then it will be advertised as repaired and priced accordingly.
