Hello Everyone;
How do they look?
I picked these ribbons bars up awhile ago; just wondering what awards went with what ribbons?
Thanks,

The long ribbon bar is for the 1914 EK2, Hindenburg Cross for Combatants, the Westwall medal and two Faithful service medals, 25 years and 40 years respectively I'm guessing.
The single bars are, on the left Heer or Kriegsmarine long service and on the right, NSDAP 10 year service medal.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Thanks!
So what kind of person would have a ribbon bar like this?
Its original right?
I believe they are all original. The person who wore the first bar would obviously be a WW1 veteran who maybe saw service in some form or another during the 3rd Reich era as he qualified for the Westwall medal. He may then have been an administrator or civil servant.
I'm speculating on the above as this sort of thing is outside my immediate area of interest so hopefully one of the others can be more helpful.

I agree with Adrian in his assessment of the above ribbon bars.

Steve.
