Russian Front Medal Real?

Weekend find. I know its a Russian front, is it real? My gut says it looks good.

Does anybody know what the back says?

Any more info on who made it or any other cool stories would be great.

The number 11 is stamped on the ring. Does anybody know what maker that is?

The translation would be " winter battlle in the east " the German soldiers called it " the frozen meat medal " because of the harsh conditions encountered there.
