No familiar with this maker but from what I can see, it looks fine to me.
It's a type 2. Produced in 1935 to 1936
See if you can locate another by this maker and compare the fonts closely.

It looks okay from these photos.
I can't see a lot of detail, but as Michael said, this is a known maker of this award.

As I understood it is a type 2 because of the ownership:
Typ 2. 15. Februar 1935 bis Dezember 1938
SA Sportabzeichen earlier numbered, at the start of 1937 without,
Ownership: EIGENTUM D. SA. SPORTABZEICHEN HAUPTSTELLE
However if I continue to list of the makers it says only Type 1!?
manufacturer for SA Defencebadge - SA Wehrabzeichen:
2. FECHLER BERNSBACH/SA ( only typ 1 )
