SA-Sportabzeichen : Bronze for review

My new SA Sports Badge, a type 2 "EIGENTUM D. SA. SPORTABZEICHEN HAUPTSTELLE" by BERG & NOLTE A.G. LÜDENSCHEID.

The "E" at the beginning of the text and the "N" at the end of SPORTABZEICHEN appear to have been cut off some by the clasp and pin attachment base. Comparing this to other badges by this maker, this is pretty normal no?
