The badge appears to be an original Type I Silver...I can barely see enough of the Etui to suspect that it is not the original case for this badge...
Silver Badges aren't so easy to find anymore!

Thanks Glenn
I like. I want to buy it.
it looks a very nice example except for a couple of blemishs.
It's a nice badge, but as Glenn said, the etui is almost certainly not original for it, so do Not pay a higher price for it simply because it has a Case.

Hello zdenislav,
The case is a nice period piece.
I believe that it was a fairly generic box used from the 1st WW era through to the end of the TR.
It could have been used for Iron Crosses, War merit crosses and even BKAs as most would fit comfortably inside.
It looks to be quite plush and I do like the matching purple lid.
I am fairly sure that most SA sport badges came in a cardboard box...sometimes seen with the badge number stamped on the top?
All the best
Doug
I agree. It's a nice case, but I doubt much that it was specifically intended for use with just the SA award...it was, as suggested, likely just a convenient sized case that fit many things and someone put their badge in it because it protected it and it looked nice.

Very nice.
Thanks for all the comments!
Good luck in collecting
