    Sorry to say but IMO this is a postwar reproduction.

    Reverse hardware and the font on the maker mark are incorrect.

    Here is a good one that displays the features one should look for on these L/18 pieces.Note the difference in the maker mark.Originals have a more narrower font.Original L/18 S-Boot badges can also be found with a vertical pin set up.

    I consider all L/18 marked KM awards in zinc to range from uncommon to very rare.

    Hi Guys,

    I agree with Martin. It's interesting that the badge seems to be copy of the Souval S-Boat rather than the Mayer which makes sense since they share the same obverse design but the Souval is a lot easier to get a hold of to copy.

    Here's a fake Fleet badge apparently from the same faker since it has the same L/18 mark, and this time it's a copy of an S&L badge.
