Note the differences in the hinge/pin/catch. They perform the same function but they're different.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
The Glider badge is very rare - if real, it would cost a heck of
a lot more than 20 Euros.........

Regards,
Steve.
I just made some high quality pictures, cause the first ones are made by my phone.
Could it be possible it is not a cast? but actually a very good repro, or maybe a restored one?
Sorry I keep asking.
Thx
No repro is good in terms of what it is, there are varying degrees of quality of such repros though.
This is a middle of the road type. Good enough to fool some but not others. It is not restored, it was made as you see it before you.
It is a fake, a repro, not original. The reverse hardaware is commonly found on such badges and is a giveaway. The obverse details are soft and it just doesn't measure up to original TR badges.
