Spange query.

Article about: I have seen this spange for sale, but the seller has tried selling fakes as well as good items to me in the past, so I need some advice (apart from run!). I assume it is for EK1 but have not

    I have seen this spange for sale, but the seller has tried selling fakes as well as good items to me in the past, so I need some advice (apart from run!). I assume it is for EK1 but have not seen the hook part of the clast before. The pin has what looks like 20 or 21 on it, but I understand they are not EK1 spange makers. I can't see any obvious casting marks, but the wing angle from the head is not what I am used to seeing. Is it missing detail?? Price of $100 should also be a warning.

    Yep, a very bad copy. The numbers are ridiculous. The eagles chest bad also. There are plenty of give aways here.
